Independent Charities of America includes SDMOM as one of the Best in America. Did you know that 97.3 % of our donated resources goes out to the military families with only 2.7% spent for administration and fund raising? Thanks to our dedicated volunteers.
In August 2009, SDMOM received a check from the Century Club of San Diego at a recent luncheon. SDMOM is one of the recognized charities supported by proceeds from the Buick Invitational Golf Tournament in San Diego organized by the Century Club. Vice President Mike Sipe on the right and Director of Operations Barbara Chavez received the check.
On September 22, 2009, SDMOM received an Organizations Helping Children award at Fleet Week San Diego Heroes Appreciation Luncheon.
On June 26, 2009, SDMOM received a Certificate of Appreciation From Colonel G. T.
